. about a day away from hitting the east coast. we keep talking boston and this could hit new york city. >> providence, hartford, boston up to new hampshire and maine. all of the big cities across the northeast under the gun here. if you are along i-95, it's going to be a line where north of you somewhere it's going to be 20 to 25 inches. south of you it will be two. that's a big range. they will sneak into part of the forecast and not get to the northern part. new york city right now, this computer we are talking about is 15.3 inches of snow. providence is 28.3. the mayor of boston, we showed the picture said please, everybody off the road by noon. city schools are closed. we don't want you stuck on the freeway in a blizzard. this is going happen. people are going to get out with three inches of snow on the ground. they think they will be okay, but they are not. they are going to get stuck in this. three inches now, but two hours later, the be inig inches and not going to be able to get out of the car. this happens all the time. get off the road and stay home. >> here's a heads up. i h

hospital and this is going on and we know the fbi is involved and l.a.p.d. special alert around the city and in fact, they have guards outside of l.a.p.d.'s main headquarters and don't see that working with them over the years. motorcycle police officers have been pulled from the streets and every single unit required to have two officers in it it and throughout the state of california everyone is on tactical alert. from san diego, all the way to the border, as far as east as las vegas. we've been told from san diego police they found a wallet, wallet was given to him this morning not far from the airport there that belongs to the suspect. and a badge was found this that wallet. christopher dorner is the suspect's name and they don't know or haven't been able to tell us if that badge was real, if it was fake, something he purchased, if it was something, we don't believe it was the l.a.p.d. badge they say, but a badge of some sort. and we'll keep you updated, alisyn, across the state every single law enforcement agency is on tactical alert trying to find the suspect and there have been no

. a blizzard warning for parts of the northeast. now in effect for areasen n. and around new york city, connecticut, all the way up into new england, including boston and ears beyond. some areas could see two feet or more of snow. the experts say this could be among the top ten snow storms ever recorded in new england. that's saying quite a lot indeed. our chief meteorologist rick reichmuth live with the changing weather first alert forecast now, rick? i'm seeing from your reports the snow totals are going up and times are changing, right? >> going to start overnight tonight. when you wake up tomorrow morning everybody is going to be seeing the snow. you have to be very ready for it these two storms, you see them getting much closer than where they were yesterday. the main energy of this storm is back behind the rain. this is all headed off towards kind of the northeast. it's going to exit the atlantic coast side snow around chicago and much of michigan. this is is a good 6 to 8-inch snowfall for a lot of those people that combines and meets somewhere here off of the mid-atlantic coast

different from someone who grew up in a farm, somebody who grew up in an inner city. there are different realities and we have to respect them. but what we know is that majority of gun owners know that 100 or 1,000 more of our children are shot or killed in a senseless fashion. there are common sense steps we can take to build a consensus around -- we cannot shy away from taking those steps. bottom library is, people we have a lot of work -- bottom line is, we have a lot of work to do. it won't be simple, there will be frustrations. there will be times where you guys are mad at me. i will occasionly read about it. but, as long as we keep in mind why we came here in the first place. as long as we think back to whatever inspired each of us to say maybe i can give something back. maybe i can make a difference. maybe my purpose here on earth is to not just think about what is in it for me but what is in it for the broader community, for my neighborhood, for my state, for my cune. we need to keep that in mind every day, i have no doubt that we will continue our extraordinary progress that we'

to thank the teachers and administrators of decatur city schools because behind every child who is doing great, there's a great teacher. i'm proud of every single one of you for the work that you do here today. on tuesday i delivered my state of the union address, and i laid out a plan for reigniting what i believe is the true engine of america's economic growth, and that is a thriving, growing, rising middle class. that also means ladders for people to get into the middle class. and the plan i put forward says we need to make smart choices as a cult. both to grow our economy, shrink our deficit in a balanced way. by cutting what we don't need, but then investing in the things that we do need to make sure that everybody has a chance on get ahead in life. what we need is to make america a magnet for new jobs by investing in manufacturing and energy, better roads and bridges and schools. we've got to make sure hard work is rewarded with a wage that you can live on, to raise a family on. we need to make sure that we've got shared responsibility for giving every american the chance to earn t
